By Road
The Isle of Skye is located off the north west of Scotland. As a rough guide it is a four hour drive from Glasgow to the Skye Bridge, or about 2 hours from Inverness to the bridge (toll free).
If you use satellite navigation this will often suggest coming via the ferry from Mallaig. Unless you want to use the ferry (see below) ignore the command and continue straight on for Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skye Bridge.
After crossing the bridge turn right at the roundabout on the A87 follow the main road for about 9 miles to Broadford. Just before the main shops you will come to the Claymore Restaurant on your right where the keys are to be picked up. Continue through the village past the supermarket and garage on the right and past the police station on the left. Turn off on the left at the Broadford Hotel taking the B8083 Torrin / Elgol Road. Garradh Mailaidh is 100 yards on the main B8083 road on the left.
By Ferry
Crossing the ferry from Mailaig to Armadale takes about 25 minutes. Once in Armadale follow the A851 to Broadford and turn left at the junction on to the A87. About a mile further along the main road on the right is the Claymore Restaurant where the keys are to be picked up.
